At The Dental Wellness Centre, we are dedicated to providing patients with the highest standard of care, using cutting-edge techniques and technology. Our expanding practice offers a wide range of treatments including general dentistry, implants, oral surgery, paediatric dentistry, Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry, facial aesthetics, IV sedation and more. Due to one of our valued receptionists relocating, we are now looking for an enthusiastic and professional Dental Receptionist to join our friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to step into a key role at a time of growth and expansion.
What We\’re Looking For
- Friendly, approachable, and professional, with a genuine passion for patient care.
- Skilled in providing outstanding customer service – nothing is too much trouble.
- Confident on the phone, with an excellent telephone manner and the ability to handle calls efficiently and warmly.
- Organised and detail-oriented, able to manage a busy front desk and keep the practice running smoothly.
- Productive and proactive, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- A clear communicator, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable using computers, with a willingness to learn our dental software and CRM system.
- Previous dental reception or nursing experience is desirable, but not essential – the right attitude and strong customer service skills are what matter most.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and ensuring they feel at ease.
- Handling incoming calls and enquiries with professionalism.
- Managing bookings, recalls, and the appointment system.
- Checking patients in and out, taking payments, and managing records.
- Supporting the clinical team with smooth day-to-day practice operations.
- Assisting with administrative duties and practice marketing/social media when required.
What We Offer
- Competitive pay (£12.50-£13.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience).
- Bonus schemes to reward performance.
- 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8:45am–5:15pm.
