We are looking for a Trainee Dental Nurse / Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team, working across both our Walthamstow and Wood Green practices. The ideal candidate must be flexible and able to travel easily between both locations.
This is a varied role combining dental nursing and reception duties within a busy, modern practice.
About the RoleYou will support dentists chairside while also assisting with reception and administrative duties when required. You will play an important role in ensuring high standards of patient care and the smooth day‑to‑day running of both practices.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high‑quality dental nursing support during a range of procedures
- Assist with reception duties including patient communication and appointment management
- Follow all practice policies, infection control procedures, and Health & Safety regulations
- Maintain accurate patient records (SFD experience desirable but not essential)
- Support compliance with CQC standards
- Work collaboratively with the dental team across both sites
- Maintain professional conduct at all times
- Undertake CPD in line with GDC requirements and maintain registration
- Currently enrolled on a Dental Nurse training course with practical experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, flexible, and able to use own initiative
- Must be willing and able to travel between Walthamstow and Wood Green
- Positive attitude and willingness to work across nursing and reception duties
- Basic IT skills (SFD experience advantageous but not essential)
- Experience: Dental assisting (1 year required), Dental Nursing (1 year required)
- Licence/Certification: Valid GDC registration (preferred)
- Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required)
- Ability to commute/relocate: Must be able to reliably travel between both sites
