The Dental Design Studio is looking for a Practice Coordinator to join our friendly and committed team at our practice in Maida Vale - 243 Maida Vale, London, W9 1QJ. We are a modern 2-surgery dental practice providing high-quality patient care in a welcoming and professional environment. We are looking for an organised and proactive individual to help coordinate the day-to-day running of the practice and support our clinical and reception teams. Experience with the SFD dental computer system would be an advantage, although it is not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the daily operations of the practice to ensure the smooth running of clinical and administrative activities.
  • Support dentists and dental nurses to ensure procedures run efficiently.
  • Undertake reception duties including patient communication, booking appointments, and administrative tasks.
  • Manage and optimise clinicians’ appointment diaries to maximise efficiency and minimise cancellations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using the SFD dental management system (training provided if required).
  • Ensure practice policies and procedures are followed.
  • Promote positive working relationships within the dental team and support a positive practice culture.
  • Support compliance with CQC guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, including PPE, COSHH, infection control, mercury handling, and waste disposal procedures.
  • Assist with general administrative and clerical duties to support the smooth running of the practice.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels for clinical materials and office supplies.
  • Support the delivery of excellent patient care and ensure a smooth patient journey.
