An exciting opportunity has arisen to join The Dental Design Studio in Beccles as an Apprentice Dental Receptionist. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in healthcare and customer service while gaining valuable experience within a busy dental practice. You will work as a key member of our reception team, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice and providing excellent service to our patients.

The successful applicant will be able to work effectively as part of a team, whilst also demonstrating motivation, initiative and the ability to work independently following appropriate training.

Working Hours: Tuesday to Saturday (Bank Holidays off.) You will be given dedicated off-the-job training time during working hours to support your studies, along with ongoing support from management and the reception team throughout your apprenticeship.

Duties and Responsibilities: You will gain experience in all aspects of dental reception and administration, including:

  • Meeting and greeting patients, providing an excellent first impression
  • Booking, amending and confirming appointments
  • Undertaking opening and closing procedures
  • Answering patient enquiries by telephone, email and in person
  • Promoting the practice to prospective new patients
  • Making patients aware of our dental services and current offers
  • Handling patient payments and maintaining accurate records
  • Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining strict patient confidentiality
  • Supporting the team with a variety of reception and administrative duties
