We operate in a state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility that’s fully accessible to disabled patients and those with special needs. The practice is equipped with the latest technology, including digital x-rays in every surgery, and is fully computerised with SfD software.
Role Overview:
As Assistant Dental Practice Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient, compliant, and smooth operation of the practice. You’ll work closely with the Practice Manager and other staff to provide excellent patient care and to meet both NHS and private targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the practice to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant running.
- Maintain exceptional standards of service to patients, with a focus on quality, cost, and performance.
- Lead and support the practice team, providing guidance to enhance performance, skills, and knowledge.
- Set, monitor, and achieve the practice’s income and performance targets.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and support clinicians in meeting both NHS and private targets.
- Facilitate effective communication within the practice, including organizing regular team meetings.
- Address and resolve any conflicts, complaints, or difficult situations promptly and professionally.
- Plan and deliver staff training and development programs to maintain a high-performing team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred, though not essential.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Effective decision-making skills with a focus on delivering results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
