We are seeking a person with a keen sense of duty and professionalism, who is organised and experienced, to join our private dental practice in Oakdale NP12.
The successful candidate will join our team of experienced nursing staff and clinicians, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a welcoming environment providing private dentistry, where attention to detail and strong communication skills are highly valued.
Responsibilities:- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Maintain your nursing requirements in line with GDC regulations
- Manage decontaminations of instruments and correct storage
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling as necessary
- Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and direct calls appropriately
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the practice management system
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, data entry, and processing payments
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures
- Ensure the safe transport of all lab work to external labs and its safe receipt on return to the practice
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous nursing experience within a dental environment and works well individually and as part of a busy team
- Administrative experience demonstrating organisation and multitasking skills is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills, communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using office software such as MS Word & Excel or similar programmes
- Experience in using Exact and Dentally dental software
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
