The predicted salary is between 13 - 15 £ per hour.

Salary: £14.65 (depending on experience)

Job Type: 30 hours per week

Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:45am-1pm, 2pm-5pm; Friday 7:45 am-1pm

Qualifications:

Due to the continued expansion of the practice, a fantastic opportunity has become available for a motivated individual to work with our highly trained team in our dental practice. We are a Denplan Plus/Private practice in the town of Cowplain in Hampshire. We pride ourselves in providing high quality dentistry, in a relaxed and caring way.

The Ideal Candidate will be:

  • Fully Qualified and GDC Registered with Hep B Immunisation
  • Reliable and Committed
  • 'Can Do' Attitude
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Computer literate, experience with R4 preferred but not essential
  • Self-motivated
  • Flexible

Key Responsibilities:

  • Helping Patients to feel comfortable before, during and after treatment.
  • Set-up and preparation of the surgery for each patient and appointment type.
  • Clean down all work surfaces and sterilise all equipment to the required standards.
  • Escorting patients from the waiting room to the surgery.
  • Provide clinical chairside support to the dentist.
  • Updating Patient Records.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels in surgery as necessary.
  • Reception Duties.
  • Follow all practice policies, procedures and patient confidentiality.
  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with the dental and reception team.
  • Comply with all GDC and CQC requirements.

Expected Start Date: Friday the 1st of May

  • Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)
