The Deluxe Group is seeking an experienced and commercially minded HR Manager to deliver a comprehensive, end-to-end HR service across the business. This varied generalist role covers the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, workforce planning, policy development and employee engagement. The HR Manager will work closely with managers and project teams to identify workforce requirements, resolve people-related matters and ensure HR practices support the organisations operational and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities Support the development and implementation of the organisations people strategy, HR policies and best practices. Provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle. Manage employee relations matters, including performance, conduct, capability, absence, grievance and disciplinary processes. Coach and support managers in applying HR policies consistently, fairly and in accordance with employment legislation. Lead and manage the full recruitment lifecycle across multiple roles, departments and project teams. Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements, resource plans and recruitment priorities. Develop workforce plans and resourcing strategies that support current and future business needs. Build and manage employer-branding initiatives to attract high-quality candidates. Optimise candidate-sourcing strategies through job boards, social media, employee referrals, recruitment agencies and direct outreach. Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, service providers and other HR-related vendors. Oversee onboarding and induction processes to ensure new employees receive a positive and consistent experience. Monitor and analyse HR and recruitment metrics, including time to hire, cost per hire, employee turnover, absence and quality of hire. Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture and a consistently high-quality candidate and employee experience. Ensure recruitment and wider HR practices comply with applicable employment legislation, right-to-work requirements and company policies. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, HR systems and supporting documentation. Assist with salary reviews, employee engagement initiatives, learning and development activities, and other HR projects. Prepare annual FEC and other statutory or regulatory reports, as required. Support international recruitment activity, including relevant UK Home Office and immigration compliance requirements. Essential Criteria A third-level qualification in Human Resources, Business Studies or a related discipline, and/or at least five years relevant experience within an HR or recruitment function. Broad generalist HR experience, including recruitment and employee relations. Sound working knowledge of applicable employment legislation and HR best practice. Experience advising and supporting managers on a range of people-related matters. Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. A high level of discretion and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Strong attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate HR records and documentation. The ability to work independently, use sound judgement and take initiative. Confidence working in a fast-paced, project-led environment. Desirable Criteria CIPD qualification or membership. Experience working with UK Home Office requirements, including right-to-work and immigration processes. Experience managing international recruitment campaigns. Experience supporting workforce planning for project-based or multi-site teams. Experience preparing FEC, equality-monitoring or other statutory reports.
