The Deluxe Group has a deserved reputation as a quality player in its chosen markets, providing high-end bespoke fit out & manufacturing services to Luxury Hospitality, Marine Outfitters, Super Prime Residentials, Education, Commercial Offices, and Themed Attractions.
Due to continued growth, we have a new opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join our expanding team based at our Head Office in Portadown, Co. Armagh.
You will be involved in the commercial management of various diverse & high‑end projects and work with the Project Management team in a client-facing role.
International travel requirements can be tailored to the successful candidate’s desire to travel frequently or not.
You will be involved in
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for multiple bids simultaneously.
- Analyzing material and labour costs; liaising with suppliers to develop strong working relationships.
- Supporting post-tender and pre-contract processes by evaluating contractual and cost implications.
- Collaborating with the team of Quantity Surveyors, including site visits to gather measurements, calculations, and relevant data.
- Ensuring timely and complete submission of all tender documentation.
- Collating and administering subcontractor documents.
- Value Engineering & Risk Management control.
You will be a self-managed professional who is goal and deadline driven, with great technical ability to interrogate the various design, contractual and technical documents.
Essential Criteria
- You must possess a relevant third level qualification such as Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
- Minimum of 12 months industry experience.
- Proficient IT skills.
- You must be an articulate, yet critical thinker and problem solver with strong technical ability.
- You must have strong communication and collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
