The Deluxe Group has a deserved reputation as a quality player in its chosen markets providing high-end bespoke fit out & manufacturing services to Luxury Hospitality, Marine Outfitters, Super Prime Residentials, Education, Commercial Offices, and Themed Attractions.
Due to continued growth, we have a new opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor Assistant to join our expanding team based at our Head Office in Portadown, Co. Armagh with very limited travel required (1-2 days per month). This is an excellent opportunity for an entry level QS who is enthusiastic about long term development within a well established commercial team working across several sectors.
You will be involved in assisting the commercial management team of various diverse & high-end projects and working closely with the Project Management team in a client facing role. This role requires very occasional travel only. You will be involved in:
- Assisting in the preparation and submission of valuations.
- Collating variation quotations.
- Supporting the Procurement and management of sub-contractor processes.
- Collating and administering subcontractor documents.
- Document Control of contractual documentation.
- Assisting with the preparation of Monthly CVR/Cost Reports and final accounts.
You will be a self-managed professional who is goal and deadline driven & willing to develop knowledge in various design, contractual and technical documents.
Essential Criteria:
- You must possess or be working towards a relevant third level qualification such as Quantity Surveying, Construction Management.
- 12 months experience in a similar role.
- Proficient IT skills.
- You must be an articulate, yet critical thinker and problem solver with strong technical ability.
- You must have strong communication and collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
