Role Overview

This is a trainee role to learn how to accurately produce print work in line with job specifications. Full training will be provided.

Primary Objectives

  • Collect and process work sent down from the repro/print department
  • Ensure that the work is sized correctly, and the appropriate correction curve is applied
  • QC to job requirements
  • Maintain and process work according to the production schedule
  • Notify the supervisor/manager when a major issue is encountered
  • Learn to problem solve minor issues, to ensure that the work flows smoothly through the department
  • Learn to maintain the machinery to manufacturers recommendations
  • Keep work area and machinery clean and tidy
  • Learn to select the correct media profile then rip the job to be printed

Shift pattern: Monday – Friday, 8 hour flexi shift
