Role Overview
The poster holder will be responsible for accurately producing print work in line with job specifications.
Primary Objectives
- Collect and process work sent down from the repro/print department;
- Ensure that the work is sized correctly, and the appropriate correction curve is applied;
- QC to job requirements;
- Maintain and process work according to the production schedule;
- Notify the supervisor/manager when a major issue is encountered;
- Problem solve minor issues, to ensure that the work flows smoothly through the department;
- Maintain the machinery to manufacturers recommendations;
- Keep work area and machinery clean and tidy;
- Select the correct media profile then rip the job to be printed (training will be given if needed).
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
- Thorough knowledge of print production practices and processes;
- Experience with large format roll to roll, HP Flatbeds, Agfa, Durst is preferable but not essential;
- Understanding Windows Operating systems;
- Operational experience with print;
- Demonstrable attention to detail;
- Reliable, trustworthy and conscientious;
- Flexible and effective team member.

Shift pattern: Mon – Fri 07:00 – 15:30
