We are recruiting an experienced chef to work within our kitchen team, this is an exciting opportunity for any young aspiring or seasoned professional chef to jump on board.
Our food is of a Pan Asian influence with Modern British techniques and other multicultural influences. It will be your duty to uphold a good sense of urgency, cleanliness, attention to detail and modern flare. Experience in Asian food, fine dining or modern British isn’t required but a passion for learning is.
Key Responsibilities- Punctual with good personal & food hygiene.
- Run a section of the kitchen unsupervised and in the absence of the Head Chef.
- Have a full understanding of the section of the kitchen required.
- Come up with fresh ideas for specials.
- Work closely with other chefs to develop new recipes and menus.
- Check deliveries to ensure all food products meet standards.
- Ensure all products used are up to standard.
- Adhere to HACCAP, COSH, Safer Foods & Better Business guidelines and file paperwork.
- Be driven with a positive attitude.
- Thrive under pressure.
- Prioritize workload effectively.
