Are you organised, proactive, and experienced in logistics or warehouse operations? We\’re looking for a Consumables Manager to join our operations team at The Delivery Group, helping to manage and track all reusable packaging assets such as trays, yorks, magnums, bags & pallets that keep our high-speed parcel and mail operations moving.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and manage all site consumables, ensuring full accountability of assets.
- Oversee daily in/out movements of consumables across our depot, clients, and transport network.
- Liaise with customers and depots to resolve shortages and ensure timely returns.
- Conduct regular stock checks, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Support planning teams with forecasting, especially during peak periods.
- Investigate lost or damaged assets and help improve return rates.
What You\’ll Need
- Experience in logistics, mail, or parcel operations.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator, able to liaise across internal teams and clients.
- Excel skills and experience with tracking or warehouse systems.
- A hands‑on approach and willingness to get involved on the ground.
