We are looking for a creative, organised and people-focused In-House Events Co-ordinator to plan and deliver exceptional events and experiences for our guests and membership community. This role is ideal for a parent or anyone looking for flexible working hours across a 3, 4, or 5 day working week. Someone who loves bringing ideas to life, thrives on collaboration and has a sharp eye for detail, without ever losing sight of the audience experience.
You will be responsible for delivering standout events from concept to completion, playing a key role in shaping and executing our yearly programme across up to 2 venues. From creative sessions and kids workshops to business events, supper clubs, live music and large-scale venue takeovers, you will ensure every event feels unmistakably 'Us'.
Working closely with performers, suppliers and internal teams, you will manage production, logistics and delivery while helping to shape the creative direction and overall experience.
Key Responsibilities- Event Planning & Execution
- Plan, manage and deliver a wide range of events and experiences
- Own the full event lifecycle: ideation, budgeting, logistics, delivery and post-event evaluation
- Oversee on-site delivery, ensuring smooth execution and an exceptional guest experience
- Support larger, complex projects and independently manage smaller events
- Source and coordinate suppliers, resources, signage and props as needed
- Project Management
- Ensure events meet creative, brand and business objectives
- Manage timelines, budgets and deliverables to ensure projects stay on track
- Collaborate closely with marketing, partnerships and internal teams to align events with wider strategy
- Event Ideation & Programming
- Lead and contribute creative ideas for new events and experiences
- Work closely with Membership Managers on member-focused programming
- Support the development of a diverse, engaging year-round events calendar
- Administration, Reporting & Communications
- Manage supplier contracts, invoices and payments accurately and on time
- Coordinate multiple suppliers across a variety of event formats
- Track attendance, feedback and performance, using insights to improve future events
- Draft event copy and upload events to the ticketing website
- Support event promotion and external communications alongside the marketing team
- Brand & Experience
- Ensure every event reflects The Hub on Verulam's brand, values and energy
- Maintain high standards across food, beverage, styling and atmosphere
- Deliver consistently excellent guest and member experiences
- Demonstrated experience planning and delivering events or experiences from concept to completion
- Strong organisational abilities with a clear, structured approach to project management
- A creative mindset with a genuine enthusiasm for building memorable experiences
- Clear and confident communicator who works well across teams
- Comfortable operating in live event environments and adapting quickly when things change
- Flexible and open to working outside standard hours when required
