We are looking for a reliable and conscientious Housekeeper to join our friendly team and help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our setting. As our Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in keeping the nursery environment clean, safe and well-presented for children, staff, and visitors.,
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery
- Clean play areas, toilets, kitchen and staff areas daily
- Follow cleaning schedules and health & safety procedures
- Support infection control and hygiene routines in line with nursery policies
- Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and stored safely
- Carry out laundry duties (e.g. bedding)
- Dispose of waste appropriately and safely
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Previous cleaning/housekeeping experience (desirable but not essential)
- Knowledge of hygiene standards and cleaning processes
- Reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking
- Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of safeguarding and commitment to child safety
