Dean Close Foundation is seeking a reliable and proactive Facilities Duty Manager to support the safe and effective operation of the school site during evening hours. This key role acts as the on-site Duty Manager and is primarily based in the Sports Hall.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of evening sports activities.
- Oversee external lettings and assist with boarding supervision later in the evening.
- Prepare and manage sports facilities and equipment.
- Provide a professional point of contact for hirers and visitors.
- Ensure all activities are delivered in line with health, safety and safeguarding expectations.
Person specification / Qualifications
The successful candidate will be calm, approachable and practical, with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively with staff across the school. A strong awareness of safeguarding and a commitment to providing a safe, welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors are essential.
