The Candidate
We are looking for a caring, committed and resilient individual who is passionate about supporting students to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You will be confident in building positive relationships with students and able to understand and respond to a range of individual needs, including emotional, behavioural, attendance and learning needs.
You will be an excellent communicator who can work effectively with students, colleagues, parents, carers and external agencies. You will have the ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging or sensitive situations, while using your initiative and experience to provide appropriate support and identify when further intervention is needed.
The successful candidate will be organised and able to maintain accurate records, coordinate support and contribute to effective intervention strategies. You will understand the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality and be committed to promoting inclusion, positive attendance and engagement. Most importantly, you will share our values to Work Hard, Be Kind and Choose Wisely and be committed to making a positive difference to the lives of our students.
