The David Ross Education Trust is seeking a highly organised, professional and proactive Personal Assistant to provide high-quality operational and administrative support to Trust Directors.

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator or PA who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working at senior level, and takes pride in delivering efficient, confidential and high-quality support. You will play a key role in helping our directors manage competing priorities, maintain effective systems and ensure the smooth running of executive support across the organisation. You will provide wide-ranging support including diary management, meeting coordination, document preparation, correspondence handling, travel arrangements and minute-taking. You will also support project coordination, Trust-wide events, and day-to-day office administration. The post will require occasional UK-wide travel.

Full time, permanent position

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting senior leaders in an administrative or PA capacity
  • Is highly organised, with excellent attention to detail
  • Can manage competing priorities and work proactively to deadlines
  • A high level of literacy with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Is confident handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Has strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Builds effective working relationships and maintains a professional, courteous approach at all times
  • Experience of minute-taking, diary management and coordinating meetings and travel is essential.
  • Experience in an education or multi-academy trust environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
