We\’re on the lookout for several Data Scientists to join a business committed to innovation, ethical use of data, and improving customer outcomes.
You\’ll be embedded within cross-functional teams across retail, underwriting, and pricing, using advanced machine learning techniques to reduce risk, forecast future trends, and make a meaningful difference to people\’s lives.
What You’ll Be Doing: In this role, you’ll apply statistical and machine learning methods to insurance datasets, working collaboratively with actuaries, underwriters, and fellow data scientists.
You’ll play a key role in building models that reflect customer and market behaviours, and have the opportunity to mentor others and share best practices across the organisation.
The team operates in a fast-paced, agile environment where your ideas and skills will directly influence the company’s data strategy and impact on real-world decisions.
What We’re Looking For: Experience in insurance data science or pricing is a strong advantage Strong hands-on experience with Python, and techniques like GLM, LightGBM, and other classification models Exposure to tools like Radar or similar pricing platforms is highly beneficial Excellent communication and collaboration skills A passion for applying data science to real-world problems You must have full right to work in the UK – sponsorship is not available for this position Ready to apply?
