The Data Gals are partnering with a leading media agency to hire a Senior Audience Strategy & Analytics Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing data and analytics function, working with major consumer brands to deliver audience first marketing strategies powered by data, insight and activation.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll combine audience strategy, first party data, digital activation and commercial thinking to help clients make better marketing decisions.

You'll work closely with client stakeholders, strategy, planning and activation teams to ensure audience insights are translated into measurable business outcomes.

The Role

You'll lead the delivery of audience analytics projects from strategy through to activation and performance measurement, while managing a small team and helping shape the future direction of the audience analytics function.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and has a strong understanding of how audience data drives digital media performance.

  • Help clients maximise the value of their CRM and customer data.
  • Create audience strategies that can be activated across multiple digital channels

  • Analyse customer behaviour to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Develop audience profiles using a combination of first-party and external data sources.
  • Present actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve campaign performance

  • Media Partner with activation teams to ensure audiences are successfully deployed across digital platforms
  • Work closely with programmatic, paid social and search specialists to optimise audience activation
  • Support audience implementation, quality assurance and performance optimisation
  • Work with DV360 and other programmatic platforms to ensure audience strategies are effectively activated
  • Performance & Optimisation
  • Build audience performance reporting frameworks
  • Analyse campaign effectiveness across reach, engagement and conversion
  • Lead test-and-learn programmes to improve audience performance
  • Translate analytical findings into clear commercial recommendations
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders
  • Present audience strategies, insights and recommendations with confidence
  • Support new business pitches and contribute to client presentations, helping demonstrate the value of audience analytics and data-driven marketing

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years' experience in Audience Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Data Strategy or Digital Analytics
  • Previous experience managing or mentoring people, ideally within an agency or consultancy environment
  • Strong hands-on experience with audience segmentation, customer profiling and first-party data
  • Good understanding of CRM data, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and identity resolution
  • Experience working within a programmatic media environment is highly desirable
  • Hands-on knowledge of DV360 and how audience strategies are activated across digital media platforms
  • Experience supporting or leading new business pitches and presenting to prospective clients
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • Comfortable working across cross-functional teams including strategy, media planning and activation
