The Data Gals is partnering with a leading media and marketing agency to hire a Data Engineer to join their growing Data & Technology team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team of 3 specialists responsible for building scalable data solutions that help clients better understand marketing performance, customer behaviour, and business outcomes. The successful candidate will work across a variety of marketing, customer, and digital data sources, designing robust data pipelines, integrating platforms, and delivering reliable datasets that power analytics and reporting across the business. Please note: Salesforce experience is an essential requirement for this role. Applications without hands‑on Salesforce experience will not be considered.
What you'll be doing
- Building and maintaining cloud based data solutions and data pipelines
- Integrating data from multiple marketing, analytics, CRM, and third party platforms
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure data quality, accessibility, and accuracy
- Managing data onboarding projects and coordinating access, validation, and documentation
- Developing scalable ELT processes and automation solutions
- Supporting reporting and visualisation requirements across the business
- Collaborating on future focused data initiatives, including AI-driven and advanced marketing technology projects
- Ensuring best practice data governance and data management processes are followed
Key Skills & Experience
- Commercial experience in a Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or similar role
- Strong hands‑on experience with Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (essential)
- Experience integrating Salesforce data into wider reporting and analytics environments
- Python experience for data transformation and automation
- Experience working with cloud data platforms, particularly Google BigQuery
- Experience building and maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines
- Understanding of digital marketing, customer, or advertising data
- Experience working with APIs and third‑party platform integrations
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
