This is a rare opportunity for a highly strategic, analytically minded, and martech-savvy professional to step into a Marketing Strategy Consultant role that blends client strategy, platform innovation, and data-driven marketing.

The Role

You will act as a data strategy partner and consultant, working 50% of your time with a major retail brand, and 50% across another prestigious account (details to follow). You’ll be joining a tight-knit team of 3 in a hands-on, client-facing role where you’ll own and evolve customer data strategies, segmentations, and analytics implementation – helping brands drive engagement and measurable growth. This is ideal for someone with a strong grasp of customer data platforms (CDPs), CRM strategy, analytics, and marketing tech ecosystems like Adobe, GA4, or Salesforce, who enjoys turning complexity into clarity for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of a unified data strategy for a major retail client
  • Own customer segmentation, analytics frameworks, and measurement methodologies
  • Partner with stakeholders to define and activate audience strategies across brands
  • Leverage platforms such as GA4, Adobe Analytics, CDPs, and CRM tools to inform and optimise marketing performance
  • Design data activation roadmaps, campaign playbooks, and customer journey maps
  • Act as a trusted consultant, collaborating cross-functionally with media, marketing, analytics, and tech teams
  • Contribute to the broader consultancy division and engage in innovation and thought leadership
  • Support business development and pitch processes as needed

About You

  • Proven background in data strategy, CRM, and martech
  • Comfortable working with Adobe, Salesforce, GA4, and customer data platforms

  • Strong communicator with a consultative mindset and the ability to simplify technical concepts
  • Passionate about innovation and client success, with a strategic lens on customer engagement
  • Familiar with data privacy practices (e.g., GDPR) and ethical data use
  • Experience in or alongside media agencies or consulting environments
  • Exposure to cloud-based data ecosystems (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
