Dash Fleet Services, part of The Dash Group, is a growing provider of business-to-business fleet maintenance and repair solutions. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles within our fleet and customer base. You will ensure all work meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency, supporting our commitment to excellence in fleet management.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance, repair and servicing on cars and vans.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and technical expertise.
- Perform routine Vehicle Health Checks and ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
- Complete all work within agreed timeframes and maintain accurate service records.
- Liaise with the Workshop Controller to provide updates on job progress.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic or similar role with satisfactory references.
- Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently.
- Your own hand tools.
- Full UK driving licence.
- All of our staff must pass a basic DBS check.
