- Accurate checking of items out for delivery on the HHT and reporting of any discrepancies to your line Manager
- Complete vehicle checks and report any problems
- Complete deliveries and collections throughout the day in a timely manner whilst adhering to company standards and health & safety procedures.
- Report any problems to your line manager throughout the day
- End of day – return to depot, unload and labelling of non-deliveries and ensure all deliveries are accounted for on the HHT
- Driver debrief with Manager on duty
- Ensure vehicle is cleaned and refuelled for next day
- Compliance with delivery and collection key performance indicators
Excellent geographical knowledge of the area - Good time keeping
- Excellent customer service skills
- Confident in dealing with people on the phone and in person
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Driving Licence valid in the UK
- Valid DBS check must be provided
