We are looking for committed and reliable individuals to help out on the AM shift in our warehouse.

  • Reports to: Operations Manager
  • Shift Pattern: Tuesday - Saturday-5:00AM-09:00AM
  • Rate of Pay: £12.75

Dash Express is a leading logistics provider in the South-West, committed to delivering exceptional service and operational excellence.

As our Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of parcels and goods within the depot.

Supporting the early morning operation, you will be responsible for preparing deliveries, organising freight, and ensuring drivers are loaded and dispatched on time.

Duties & responsibilities will include

  • Load and unload vehicles (heavy lifting will be included in this role)
  • Sort and segregate parcels and freight by route, preparing them for dispatch.
  • Ensure all freight is handled safely and securely, using appropriate manual handling techniques.
  • Ensuring our vans and trunk vehicles are loaded and ready to dispatch on time
  • Support the wider warehouse operation with general duties, maintaining workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with Health & Safety standards.
  • Quality checking items and reporting damage or any issues in line with company procedure
  • Working collaboratively with the team to ensure the warehouse operates smoothly and efficiently
  • Report any problems to your line manager throughout the day.
  • Our desired qualities
  • Experience in a warehouse or in logistics.
  • Strong attention to detail when sorting and handling goods.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • The physical ability to manually lift and move (sometimes heavy) parcels at a high volume.
  • Punctual, reliable and able to arrive on time for early morning shift start time
  • Excellent communication skills to provide customer support on the phone or in person
  • All staff are required to pass a basic DBS check
