*What you'll be doing*

This is a hands-on role where you'll use your technical expertise to keep customers' vehicles safe, compliant and on the road.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on cars, vans and commercial fleet vehicles
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and vehicle system faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment
• Completing vehicle inspections, safety checks and health reports
• Identifying effective repair solutions and recommending additional work where required
• Maintaining accurate job records and workshop documentation
• Supporting colleagues by sharing knowledge and technical expertise
• Keeping up to date with developments in vehicle diagnostics, electronics and emerging technologies
• Contributing to a safe, organised and professional workshop environment
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the workshop in the absence of the Workshop Manager

*What we're looking for*

We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing things properly and enjoys continuously developing their skills.

You'll be a great fit if you:

• Have experience working as a Vehicle Technician, ideally supported by a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience
• Have strong mechanical knowledge and repair experience
• Are confident carrying out fault finding and diagnostics
• Have experience working with vehicle electrical systems
• Enjoy learning and staying up to date with developments in vehicle technology
• Can work independently whilst also contributing to a team environment
• Take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship every time
• Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
