Located in Walton on Thames, Danesfield Manor School is a one form entry school educating boys and girls from the age of 2 – 11 years of age. We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team from September 2026. The successful candidate should be passionate about children’s learning.
- Has experience working with children in a primary school setting and is confident supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom.
- Has experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them to access learning and achieve their individual goals.
- Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Has a patient, caring and positive approach, with a genuine passion for supporting children's learning, wellbeing and personal development.
- Can build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents, and work effectively as part of a team.
- Is enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to creating a positive learning environment for all children.
- A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent).
- Training or experience in supporting children with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia or Speech and Language needs.
Applicants must be willing to undertake lifeguard training as part of their professional development.
