We have multiple Health Care Assistant positions available, both full and part time, with weekend availability. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated people to join our team providing domiciliary care services. No experience? Don't worry, full training will be provided!
As a Health Care Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to vulnerable people living in their own homes. Provincial Care Services aim to provide Domiciliary Care to vulnerable people living at home of any age, gender, sexual orientation, religious or cultural origins, irrespective of race or disability, and to give practical support to carers.
The ideal candidate will be patient, empathetic, and committed to promoting independence while ensuring the dignity and well-being of service users. You will work as part of a supportive team dedicated to making a positive difference in people's lives.
ROLE: To work under the direction of the Area Manager, participating in the team and assisting with personal care and other tasks as necessary to Service Users in the community, taking appropriate responsibility for certain tasks as allocated. The job requires high standards of cleanliness and hygiene and the ability to work on one's own in the Service User's house, co-operating with the Service User and/or relatives as necessary. Care Assistants must maintain the highest standards of care at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Practical support - cooking/light housework
- Personal support - medication, dressing, undressing, washing, showering, bathing, toileting, oral hygiene, skin care
