Role Description This full-time, on-site Experienced Salon Stylist role is based at The Cutting Rooms in Wigan town centre, and we have a busy client base ready for you to step into,
The stylist will perform a full range of hair services, including a range cutting techniques ,
clipper cutting, colouring basic and advanced, styling, and treatments, while providing personalised consultations tailored to each client’s needs.
You must be able to perform each service within the salon appointment time guidelines .
Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organised salon, recommending appropriate hair products, and ensuring a high standard of client care throughout each appointment. The role also involves supporting other team members if required to do so, working collaboratively with the team, and staying updated on industry trends, techniques, and product innovations.
Qualifications
- Strong unisex Hairdressing skills, for all clients, as we service both ladies and gents,
- including cutting and styling, and both basic and advanced colouring techniques, colour correction, skin testing and hair treatments.
- Solid product knowledge across hair care and styling lines, Wella products an advantage with the ability to recommend suitable products.
- Excellent customer service abilities a must, with a focus on building long-term client relationships and delivering a positive salon experience.
- Experience in promoting salon services and products to meet individual and team targets.
- Basic understanding of skin care to support complementary salon services and product recommendations.
- Relevant qualifications or certification, and references.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively on your own and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated reliability, time management, and professionalism in a busy salon setting.
