What You'll Do
You will work alongside experienced stylists, gaining hands‑on salon experience while developing the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified hairdresser.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior stylists in delivering high‑quality hairdressing services to clients
- Learn and support hair cutting, colouring, styling, and finishing techniques
- Greet clients professionally and provide excellent customer service
- Prepare clients for services, including shampooing and conditioning hair
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised salon environment
- Support other salon team members with daily duties as required
- Attend all off‑the‑job training and assessments as part of the apprenticeship
- Training Outcome
May lead to potential employment as a designer on our shop floor.
This is completely dependent on how the individual develops throughout their qualification and what availability we have in the salon.

- Course Information
Course: Hairdressing professional (Level2) – Route: Hair and beauty – Apprenticeship Level: Intermediate.
- Working Arrangements
- Working week: 9:00am – 5:30pm and at least 1 (possibly 2) late shift 11:30am – 9pm, 8:30am – 5pm on Saturday
- A day off in the week
- Expected duration: 2years
- Training provider: Milton Keynes College
