We're working with a specialist engineering manufacturer investing in the development of its finishing processes. This is an opportunity for a graduate or early-career engineer to take ownership of a real-world project and build hands-on experience in a production environment.
The Role
You will support and lead practical work to improve and develop finishing processes, working closely with experienced engineers on the shop floor. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the development of new finishing techniques
- Supporting trials of materials, methods, and equipment
- Working closely with production teams to understand current processes
- Gathering data, analysing results, and suggesting improvements
- Contributing to the creation of standard processes and best practice
This is a hands-on role with strong exposure to manufacturing operations.
Candidate Profile
