A reputable regional M&E Contractor are looking for an Electrical Estimator to join their established team. The company provides M&E services to a wide range of clients across a variety of sectors including Commercial, Education, Life Sciences, Industrial, Healthcare, Leisure and Residential.
As the Electrical Estimator you will be key in the pre-construction process, supporting the commercial team in producing accurate and competitive estimates for Electrical building services projects. You will be involved in tender reviews, take-offs, cost planning, and liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the best value. You will work within an established M&E estimating team in preparing Electrical estimates up to £4 million, so previous experience is essential.
The Electrical Estimator will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Preparing accurate and competitive Electrical tenders for a range of building services projects using estimating software packages.
- Conduct take-offs from drawings and specifications.
- Manage the tender process from initial enquiry through to final submission.
- Attend site surveys or tender interviews as necessary.
- Evaluate supplier and sub-contract returns to ensure compliance.
