A regional M&E Contractor are looking for an experienced Plumber/Pipefitter to join their expanding Cambridge team. The company provides M&E services to a wide range of end user clients and main contractors across a variety of sectors including schools, universities, hospitals, research & development and high end residential. These projects range in value from but typically up to £3M.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing plumbing and pipework systems on new build and refurbishment projects, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications.

As the Plumber/Pipefitter, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Read and work from technical drawings and installation plans.
  • Install pipework systems including copper, stainless steel and plastic pipe.
  • Install heating, water and drainage systems.
  • Install pumps, valves, brackets and pipe supports.
  • Work alongside other trades on site to complete installations efficiently.
  • Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and industry standards.

Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of mechanical systems.
