Job Title: Upholsterer
Location: Northampton, Mon Fri 6.30am 3.00pm
Salary: Up to £13.50 per hour depending on experience + overtime + bonus
With optional overtime plus a company-wide bonus scheme, there is a very realistic earning potential here of £30,000+ a year.
Our client looking to recruit highly skilled and experienced upholsterers to join the upholstery team at a leading global furniture group renowned for blending minimalist Scandinavian and robust British design.

What youll be doing
- Handcrafting upholstered products to a consistently high standard, delivering quality work within agreed timescales
- Making sure every piece of furniture leaving the workshop meets the departments exacting quality standards
- Creating accurate patterns and templates that account for the unique characteristics of different fabrics and materials
- Interpreting design briefs and applying the most effective upholstery methods to bring each piece to life
Experience/Skills
- Proven expertise in high-quality soft seating upholstery
- Strong pattern and template-making skills across a wide range of fabrics and materials
- The ability to take a design brief and translate it into practical, effective upholstery solutions
- A collaborative approach, working closely with colleagues in other departments to keep production smooth and customer commitments on track
