The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

An experienced Business Analyst with experience working in a multi-sited business, possibly retail or leisure, to carry out the first stage of a project to scope out requirements by identifying stakeholders, holding in-person workshops, online workshops, face-to-face meetings, and online calls to elicit their needs.

At the end of this stage of the project, the analyst will show what the solution needs to look like and what the requirements for this solution are in terms of what the business actually wants from it. This includes building out requirements, user stories, and a stakeholder map.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified in/or studying towards relevant qualifications for the role or equivalent, including BCS or IIAB Business Analysis certifications (an advantage).

Experience:

  • Detailed knowledge and experience in implementing IT-related business projects involving multiple activities and streams of people from both IT and business teams using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience of working in a multi-channel digital and/or retail organisation and within a Matrix structure.
  • Ability to write User Stories and Business Process documents according to a variety of recognised standards.
  • A proven ability to translate technical designs and constraints into understandable business concepts.
  • Good awareness of Product Lifecycle; strategy and how this informs and drives product development.
  • The ability to transform data into insight and prioritise solutions that deliver maximum value.
  • Good working knowledge of process mapping tools such as MS Visio.
