We are looking for an ambitious and passionate Restaurant Manager to take the lead at Kenny’s, driving the day-to-day operation, guest experience, team performance and commercial success of the restaurant and bar.
The Role Reporting to the General Manager, the Restaurant Manager will take responsibility for the daily operation and overall performance of Kenny’s Restaurant & Bar.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who wants to make their mark and help shape the next chapter of Kenny’s.
You will lead the restaurant and bar operation, inspire and develop the F&B team, work closely with the Executive Chef and create an experience that feels effortless, social, engaging and distinctly lifestyle-led.
The role is about creating a destination, not simply running a restaurant.
You will play a key role in building Kenny’s identity, increasing its local presence, driving revenue and creating experiences that encourage guests to return time and time again.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the day-to-day operation of Kenny’s Restaurant & Bar, ensuring a smooth, efficient and engaging service.
- Lead, motivate and inspire the F&B team, creating a positive, energetic and high-performing culture.
- Ensure consistently high standards of food, beverage, service and guest experience.
- Drive Kenny’s positioning as a destination restaurant and bar in Kensington, attracting hotel guests, local residents and visitors.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to deliver an exciting, commercially successful and consistent food offering.
- Create memorable guest experiences that reflect the lifestyle personality of The Cura Kensington.
- Develop and support events, activations, promotions and experiences that give guests a reason to visit Kenny’s.
- Build strong relationships with regular guests, local businesses, suppliers, partners and the Kensington community.
- Drive revenue, average spend and departmental performance through effective sales and upselling strategies.
- Identify opportunities to improve the restaurant and bar’s commercial performance.
- Monitor food and beverage costs, stock levels, purchasing and wastage.
- Conduct daily F&B briefings and ensure strong communication across the team.
- Train, coach, mentor and develop F&B colleagues, supporting their career progression.
- Manage team rotas, attendance, annual leave and daily staffing requirements.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and performance management within the department.
- Monitor guest feedback through Marriott GSS, online reviews and social media and take action to continuously improve the guest experience.
- Ensure Marriott and Tribute Portfolio standards are consistently achieved.
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, food safety and service.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, Licensing, Fire Safety and hotel procedures.
- Support departmental budgeting, financial controls and reporting.
- Work closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Kitchen and Engineering to ensure seamless hotel operations.
- Take an active role in hotel events and wider operational requirements where required.
