As a Guest Service Associate, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, primarily within our Food & Beverage operations, while also supporting the Front Office team during busy periods.

You will create memorable moments across our restaurant, bar, and breakfast service, from welcoming guests in the morning to providing attentive and engaging service throughout the day and evening.

Your main focus will be within Food & Beverage, ensuring a high standard of service, guest satisfaction, and smooth daily operations.

During peak times, you will also assist at Reception, supporting the Front Office team with guest enquiries and contributing to a seamless overall guest journey.

You will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, ensuring service standards are consistently met and that guests receive warm, professional, and personalised service at all times.

Your flexibility, teamwork, and positive attitude will help create a welcoming environment and deliver the high-quality experience expected from our brand.

  • Your Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional guest service across breakfast, restaurant, bar, and Reception, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience throughout the guest journey.
  • Welcome guests warmly in both the restaurant and at Reception, assisting with seating, check-ins, check-outs, and general enquiries.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately while also supporting guest requests, reservations, and general Front Office assistance when required.
  • Ensure buffet and à la carte service is well-presented, efficient, and engaging, maintaining high service standards at all times.
  • Support bar service by preparing and serving beverages, including cocktails and speciality drinks where trained.
  • Assist with Reception tasks during busy periods, including answering guest enquiries, supporting arrivals and departures, and providing information about hotel services and local attractions.
  • Handle guest feedback positively, resolving concerns promptly and escalating issues when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and professional presentation across restaurant, bar, lobby, and Reception areas.
  • Assist with setting up and closing down restaurant, bar, breakfast, and event spaces, ensuring readiness for service.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Food & Beverage, Reception, and Housekeeping to support promotions, themed events, group bookings, and daily operations.
  • Communicate guest preferences, special occasions, and requests clearly between departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Promote hotel services including dining experiences, facilities, and the benefits of the Marriott Bonvoy programme where appropriate.
  • Uphold compliance with food hygiene, health & safety, licensing requirements, and Marriott brand standards.

About You

  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
  • A natural people-person with energy, warmth, and a genuine passion for guest service.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work across breakfast, restaurant, and bar shifts.
