The Cura Kensington, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott, is a lifestyle hotel located in West London, offering 132 contemporary bedrooms alongside a vibrant restaurant and bar. As part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio, the hotel delivers individualized and memorable guest experiences with a focus on personality, creativity, and exceptional service.

As a Night Auditor, you will oversee the hotel’s overnight operations, ensuring all guest service standards are maintained while completing daily financial and operational procedures. You will act as the main point of contact for guests during the night, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and seamless experience throughout their stay.

This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, flexibility, and a hands-on approach, including supporting the Food & Beverage operation when required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests in a professional, friendly, and engaging manner, ensuring a positive first impression of the hotel.
  • Manage overnight check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, including reservations, room allocations, billing, and guest profiles using Opera PMS or similar systems.
  • Complete all night audit procedures accurately, including balancing accounts, preparing reports, reconciling transactions, and ensuring financial accuracy for the business day.
  • Act as the main point of contact for guests throughout the night, responding promptly and professionally to enquiries, requests, and concerns.
  • Ensure the safety, security, and general wellbeing of guests and the hotel during overnight hours.
  • Conduct regular floor walks throughout the night to ensure guest corridors, public areas, and hotel facilities are clean, secure, quiet, and maintained to brand standards, reporting any maintenance or security concerns appropriately.
  • Provide accurate information regarding hotel facilities, services, restaurant and bar offerings, and local attractions in West London.
  • Support the Food & Beverage operation when required, including assisting with guest service, restaurant set-up, bar support, and maintaining service standards during busy periods or late-night operations.
  • Communicate guest preferences, special occasions, allergies, and requests clearly between departments to ensure personalised service.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and presentation standards across reception, lobby, restaurant, and public areas during the night shift.
  • Handle guest feedback and concerns professionally, ensuring prompt resolution or escalation where appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Kitchen, and Management teams to ensure smooth overnight operations.
  • Promote hotel services and facilities to enhance guest satisfaction and overall experience.
  • Inform guests about the benefits of the Marriott Bonvoy programme where appropriate.
  • Maintain professional appearance, punctuality, and adherence to hotel policies, procedures, and Marriott brand standards.
About You:
  • Previous experience in hospitality, hotel reception, or night audit preferred.
  • Experience within Food & Beverage operations is beneficial.
  • Friendly, professional, and confident when interacting with guests.
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A team player with a flexible approach to supporting different departments.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remain calm in a busy overnight environment.
  • Willingness to learn and develop within Marriott.
  • Experience using Opera PMS or similar systems is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.
