About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and strengthening a therapy‑led reablement service, aligned with national best practice. Working at the heart of the service, you will support Reablement Managers to enhance the therapeutic offer, helping to design, implement and embed meaningful improvements that deliver real outcomes for individuals. You will take a leadership role within a dynamic change environment, using your skills and experience to drive service development, oversee agreed improvement actions and evidence the impact of change. This role offers genuine scope to influence practice, inspire teams and create lasting improvements alongside managers and frontline staff. A strong focus will be placed on developing graded, therapy‑led programmes that promote independence, maximise individual strengths and improve quality of life, supporting prevention and long‑term wellbeing. As a confident and effective communicator, you will actively champion the service, building positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and promoting the value and impact of reablement.

To support your success, the role includes an enhanced initial support package, ensuring you are well equipped to lead, innovate and thrive from the outset.

DBS Checks

This role requires a DBS check. The level of check for this role is: Enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check. Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with adults. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with adults.
