Assistant Team Manager - Youth Justice
Salary: £53,051 to £54,143 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Carlisle or Workington base, but requirement to work across the whole of Cumberland

About this opportunity
Join our Youth Justice Service and play a vital role in improving outcomes for children and young people involved in the criminal justice system. Working within a multi‑agency team, you will support the day‑to‑day operational delivery of the service, provide guidance and supervision to staff, oversee case management and quality assurance, and help drive continuous improvement across the team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Youth Justice professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for partnership working, and a commitment to ensuring children, young people and families receive the right support at the right time. You'll also contribute to the delivery of Cumberland’s Youth Justice Plan and the development of high-quality, child‑centred services.
This role is available on a permanent basis.

Enhanced DBS check with a Children’s Barred List check.
Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Children. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with Children.
