We have an exciting opportunity to join the Community Equipment Service as an Administration Assistant on a 12-month fixed-term basis. If you enjoy working in a busy team, supporting essential services, and making a difference behind the scenes, this could be the role for you. You'll be part of a supportive team, helping keep the service running smoothly by providing a wide range of administrative support. No two days will be the same, and you'll play an important role in supporting both colleagues and the wider service.

Job Description

Location: Ulverston
Contract Type: Fixed Term to 30/06/2027

Your day-to-day tasks may include:

  • Processing information and data accurately
  • Keeping systems, spreadsheets, and records up to date
  • Preparing letters, reports, and other documents
  • Handling invoices, timesheets, and general paperwork
  • Ordering supplies and arranging services
  • Speaking with colleagues, customers, and suppliers in a helpful and professional way
  • Supporting meetings, including taking notes
  • General office and telephone duties
