We have opportunities for caring andcompassionate people to join Care Services Westmorland andFurness, based at Maudes Meadow, as part of a new team ofIntermediate Care Support Workers.
About therole
As an Intermediate Care Support Worker youwill work with people who have been identified as havingintermediate care needs, providing support in an empowering way,to promote recovery and maximise their independence.
This is an incredibly rewardingopportunity, giving you the chance to work with people onachieving identified goals and outcomes, supporting them toretain as much independence as possible and remain living withintheir local community.
The main duties of the role willinclude:
- Supporting individuals with personalcare, ensuring individuals are treated with dignity andrespect.
- Supporting with, and administeringmedication as required.
- Working with individuals on their ownpersonal outcomes, as agreed within a person centred,strength-based plan.
- Working closely with colleagues acrossthe Service, including Therapists and Social Workers.
