About DayServices (DMH)
Kendal Day Services have a diverse range ofDay Opportunities for adults with a learning disability includingautism. The support offered is highly personalised to meet theneeds of the individual and promotes social inclusion andmaintains independence. We provided exciting and inclusive dayopportunities tailored care programmes and activities whichincluding drama, art, low level fell walking, therapeutichorticulture and a wide range of centre and community-basedactivities to enable personal growth and promote health andwell-being.
About therole
As a Day service Support Worker, you willget to know people individually and support their wellbeingthrough physical and emotional care. You will also assist withmedication, providing personal care, and encouraging people toachieve their full potential. We are looking for support workerswho are flexible, enthusiastic, willing to undertake specialisedactivities and training whilst also sharing your own personalskills, interests and ideas.
