We work with Older Adults and adults with physical disabilities aged 18+ offering you a rewarding role with real variety. You’ll contribute to both our Enhanced Duty Function and longer-term casework, collaborating closely with colleagues across Occupational Therapy, Care Services, and Health to deliver the best possible support.

We offer a supportive 2-week induction programme, allowing you to confidently integrate into our team, including an introduction to Adult Social Care in Westmorland and Furness Council with our Advanced Practice Lead Team, where you will get the opportunity to meet your colleagues from across the Service.

Career grade

We apply a career grade system to our Social Worker roles, meaning your starting salary will depend on your competencies, experience, and qualifications. We then support staff to progress through the career grade in line with their development against the requirements at each step of the grade.
