We are looking to appoint a proactiveService Lead, for the Children’s Systems Development and SupportTeam responsible for the development, implementation andmaintenance of our Children’s Case Management systems –(principally System C LiquidLogic LCS & EHM).

The team leads on projects to fulfilbusiness needs and provides support to the end user. The ServiceLead role has a strategic position working closely with seniorcolleagues agreeing projects, timescales and deliverables.

This will enable Cumberland and Westmorland& Furness Councils to deliver a high-quality service to theircustomers, guaranteeing compliance with statutory requirementsand undertaking on-going analysis to support effective servicedelivery.

Cumberland Council is currently delivering a hosted ICT Servicefor Cumberland Council, Westmorland and Furness Council andCumbria Fire and Rescue Service. The provision of these serviceswill be disaggregated at a future date and this role has beenallocated to Westmoreland and Furness.

This role is full time on a permanent basisand will be primarily based from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a key point of contact for theChildrens Social Care & Early Help service areas
  • Build strong relationships with internaland external stakeholders
  • Responsible for sourcing solutions whichwill help bring a positive outcome to both councils
  • Contribute to wider system serviceplanning by establishing and understanding specific businessneeds
  • Evaluate new systems products, upgradesand enhancements

Who we’relooking for

To succeed in this role, we are looking forsomeone who has knowledge and experience of using LiquidLogicLCS/EHM systems. You will have good communication skills and canbuild relationships to help both councils meet the needs of theirchildren & families. You and your team will support thebusiness to harness the technology available to them, as well asdeliver training and ensure consistency, so the ability to adaptyour communication style to the required audience is key.

You will have an understanding, of relevantlocal authority legislation including GDPR and InformationSecurity. A team player who can work with a high degree ofaccuracy and attention to detail you will bring innovativesolutions and strong problem-solving skills to the team.
