Have you ever considered working in Procurement? An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Commissioning and Procurement Team for a highly motivated individual to work as a Procurement and Contract Officer.
If successful, you would work as part of a highly skilled Procurement team, covering areas including Capital Projects, Corporate, Childrenβs and Adult social care services.
Our objective is to procure services, goods and works, which meet the identified needs of local residents, deliver improved outcomes, achieve value for money and support the Council Plan.

We are looking for an innovative and creative individual with skills, knowledge, and experience in procurement, who wants to make a difference. To be successful in the role you must have:
- experience in tendering and contract management
- excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- a desire and ability to work collaboratively to effect change
This is a high-profile role and will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside a range of people, both within the Council and from other agencies and key stakeholder groups.
