Cumberland Council’s Virtual School is seeking a dedicated Post 16 Lead to champion the education, employment, and training outcomes of care-experienced young people. In this rewarding role, you’ll ensure that every young person has access to high-quality education and support, with a strong focus on Personal Education Plans (PEPs), smooth transitions, and preparation for adulthood. We’re looking for someone with experience working with vulnerable young people, ideally in education or care settings, and a strong understanding of post-16 pathways and statutory guidance. You’ll work closely with schools, colleges, social care teams, and partner agencies to build relationships, deliver training, and ensure young people’s voices are heard.
