Hourly Rate: £13.69 - £13.90 per hour (£14.43p including supplement – after 6 months). A market supplement of £0.53p per hour is currently being applied to this role and will be payable once you have been in post for 6 months. The Market Supplement will be applied to both your basic salary and to any additional hours, uplifting the hourly rate to £14.43 per hour. There will also be the option to take this as a lump sum annually if preferred.
Location: Christian Head Residential Home, Kirkby Stephen.
Available Hours: part time, between 25-26 hours per week.

About this opportunity
Do you want to support adults in Cumbria and be part of a friendly, hardworking team, making a difference to someone’s life? Christian Head provides a safe, caring and home‑from‑home environment for up to 28 residents with complex health care needs. As a Night Support Worker, you will support our residents between 9:45 pm and 7:30 am. During this time, you will be responsible for administering medication, ensuring all security checks are completed, dealing with emergencies and assisting our Service Users with any of their needs. It is a challenging role, with a great deal of responsibility, and we are looking for someone who has good responses, the ability to adapt and can make safe and confident decisions to support the wellbeing of our residents. You will typically work over 7 days, 365 days a year – this will include alternate weekends (as part of a set rota) and Bank Holidays.
