Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic internal applicants to join our team as a Ferry Host on a casual, zero-hour basis.

This flexible arrangement is suited to those looking for extra work based around other commitments, with shifts offered on an as-needed basis according to operational demands.

There is no obligation to accept every shift offered.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming and assisting passengers boarding and disembarking.
  • Using contactless payment systems to manage payments.
  • Providing local tourist information, directions, responding to passenger queries and resolving minor issues.
  • Ensuring passenger safety and compliance with onboard procedures.
  • Working as part of a small team to keep the ferry tidy and demonstrate safe working practices; all staff receive training.

  • A team player who can also work independently.
